Qualtek buys nearly all its steel and aluminum in the U.S. but new tariffs imposed by the government in March are still hurting metal industry businesses and others by raising the price of all steel and aluminum. Qualtek CEO Troy Roberts recently explained how these tariffs hurt job growth and increase costs for all Americans. Troy spoke at an April 18, 2018 press briefing in Washington, D.C. as part of the Coalition of American Metal Manufacturers and Users, a group representing thousands of companies in opposition to these tariffs.
