Why Qualtek is “the” Premier Anodizer

IHAA International Hard Anodizing Association

To be a great anodizer you must do multiple things well: process control, work order development, develop the "recipe", produce the "recipe", maintain chemistry, and manage wastewater control. Qualtek delivers high quality in each function at the same time.

Metal Finishing Explained

Finishing Department — Water Conservation Champions

Qualtek implemented a water conservation program and immediately cut its water use by more than 174,000 gallons a month. Most of the water savings came from the finishing department. Additional water savings were realized through installing a system to cool motors. Colorado Springs Utilities recognized Qualtek as Commercial Water Champions.

Supply Chain Support

A machining client was asked to machine a medical component with tolerances of +- .0005" after Type III hard anodize. Planning, machining and anodizing to such tight tolerance is challenging at best. Qualtek helped the client determine the pre-anodize target dimensions, adjusted for the buildup of anodize. The client reported that Qualtek delivered the entire batch of parts at the center of the tolerance, without scraping a single piece.

“We recommend them highly. Their process control is top-notch,” said Bill Titcomb of Kineo, Inc.
